    Designing an educational iPad app and Service Design for end to end business processes.

    Process

    Stephen worked in collaboration with a visual designer, technical programmers and business stakeholders to produce user centric designs for the app and business processes.

    Some of the tasks performed were:

    • Researching user needs qualitatively by reviewing user feedback on existing products and services.
    • Working with business stakeholders to develop requirements and shape the design.
    • Competitor review for best practice.
    • Designing wireframes to be used for business stakeholder and technical team engagement.
    • Working with visual designers and developers to provide design direction.
    • Leading UX design and implementation in an Agile / Lean development environment.
    • Iterate design usability on subsequent versions of the app to improve usability and functionality.
    • Iteratively assess and redesign business purchase processes, support processes and branding based on user feedback.
